Overview: DCM Shriram Limited is a leading business conglomerate with a group turnover of Rs. 7,767 crores. The business portfolio of the company comprises primarily of Agri-Rural Business, Chlor-Vinyl Business, Fenesta Building Systems, agriculture, chemicals, and Chlor-alkali(caustic soda and chlorine).

About the company: DCM Shriram limited was incorporated in 1989. The company has manufacturing facilities of Fertiliser, Chloro Vinyl & Cement in Kota (Rajasthan) and of Chlor- Alkali in Bharuch (Gujrat). DCM Shriram Sugar factories are located in Ajbapur, Rupapur, Hariawan, and Loni in Uttar Pradesh, with a combined installed capacity of 38,000 TCD (tonnes crushed of sugarcane daily) and power- generating capacity of 147 MW.

The company has added two Distilleries with a total capacity of 350 KLD Capacity. The Hybrid seed operations- ‘Bioseed’ started in Hyderabad (India) and have a global footprint with a presence in South-East Asia with research facilities. Fenesta windows fabrication units are located in Bhiwadi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. All of DCM Shriram’s mainline locations/products have ISO 9001 & 14001 (Quality & Environment Systems) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Standards) in its facilities.

Products (Revenue): DCM Shriram limited’s Sugar contributed Rs 2521.55 Crore to Sales Value (32.86 % of Total Sales)for the year ending 31-Mar-2020. For the same period Chloro-Vinyl contributed Rs 2278.21 Crore to Sales Value (29.69 % of Total Sales), Fertilisers contributed Rs 1016.61 Crore (13.25 % of Total Sales). The company’s Farm Solutions contributed Rs 748.50 Crore to Sales Value (9.75 % of Total Sales).

Management: Mr. Ajay S. Shriram is the Chairman & Sr. Managing Director, Mr. Vikram S. Shriram is the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, and Mr. Ajit S. Shriramis the Joint Managing Director.

Net profit of the company rose 44.47% to Rs 253.45 crore in this quarter compared to Rs 175.43 crore during the previous quarter ended December 2019.
